“三从四德”即“三从”：“未嫁从父，即嫁从夫，夫死随子”(《仪礼、丧服、自夏传》)；“四德”：“妇德、妇言、妇容、妇功”(《周礼、天官、九嫔》)。

新版：三从四德：太太出门要跟从，命令要服从，说错了要盲从；化妆要等得，生日要记得，打骂要忍得，花钱要舍得。
